Golden Gourmet Facilities Frt

The process of building the new Golden Gourmet facility is complete.  We are always improving our processes and this new building will be able to improve and change with us.  Thanks to all the vendors that helped us get here.

New Building under construction

We're nearing completion on our new manufacturing facility in Americus, GA. This new 53,000 square foot facility will allow us to further integrate our operations and bring the best in Senior Nutrition all across the country!

Construction in full swing

Construction is really cranking up on our new facility in Americus, Georgia! Last night under a full moon our team of contractors poured the upper concrete slab for our loading dock- over 24 truckloads of concrete for that one pour alone! This pour is one of 7 for our new facility.

Our facility will be one-of-a-kind in that we have designed it from concept to match Golden Gourmet's unique approach to culinary process, as well as the highest level of food safety possible. This further solidifies Golden Gourmet as the Senior and Healthcare meal provider of choice for our customers and those they serve. Operations will commence at the new facility in the 4th quarter of 2015.

We are strong because our businesses are strong.”

Graves shared that Shane Lee will serve as the General Manager for Golden Gourmet, and Ira Kelley, a local builder, will handle the development of the property.  “I want to thank the PDA and the Chamber of Commerce for making this possible. It doesn’t get much better than this than to find a place right across the road from your people.  I want to thank our state legislators for working to making Georgia the #1 state in which to do business.”

Per Graves, “Golden Gourmet currently serves over 6 million meals a year to seniors, and distributes all over the US. They are the 4th largest producer in this segment (senior citizen meals).

This venture will have a significant impact on our economy and will produce the highest quality, nutritional meals for seniors. We want to be the #1 provider of senior citizen meals in the US.”
